Concrete Driveway and Patio Cleaning in Canton, GA
Canton, GA

What we found and what we did
Pressure-washed the concrete driveway, pool deck, covered patio, side patio, and rear patio at a residential property in Canton, GA. The job ran about 4.5 hours on site, which reflects how much surface area we were covering: the driveway alone is a wide three-car-wide slab, and the back of the property had multiple concrete zones surrounding the pool and outdoor living areas.
The driveway had visible staining before we started — you can see it in the before photos, a dark patch near the apron that had worked into the surface. We pre-treated those spots before running the flat-surface cleaner across the full slab. The pool deck had the kind of buildup that accumulates when concrete stays damp: algae film and general grime layered over the whole surface, heavier on the shaded sections. Before shots on the pool deck show it well — the concrete reads almost grey-green in places.
Main cleaning pass used an 18-inch flat-surface cleaner at high pressure, with overlapping passes to keep the finish even. A single-wand pass on a slab this size would leave uneven cleaning lines that show up once the concrete dries. After the surface cleaner, we followed up with a detail rinse along the expansion joints and edges on each zone.
The after shots tell the story better than the description. The pool deck came back to a consistent light tone across the full arc, the covered patio cleaned up evenly corner to corner, and the driveway staining lifted well. The concrete walkway got cleaned out as part of the same visit.
For Canton-area homeowners with pool decks: the shaded side of the deck re-grows algae faster than the sun-exposed sections. A penetrating concrete sealer slows that cycle down and makes the next cleaning easier.
